1. License and Scope
Talking Jellyfish is licensed, not sold, to you. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded iOS devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
2. User Content Responsibility
You retain ownership of any text, voice inputs, audio samples, photos, images, or other media files you import or generate within the app. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights and consents for the materials you import, process, or use in connection with the application's local voice and chat companion systems.
3. Restrictions on Voice and Likeness Misuse
You agree to use the voice cloning features strictly in compliance with applicable law. Specifically, you agree not to use the app to:
- Synthesize, clone, or simulate the voice of any individual without their express, written authorization.
- Engage in unauthorized impersonation, deception, fraud, or misrepresentation.
- Harass, abuse, intimidate, or infringe on the privacy or intellectual property rights of any person.
4. AI Outputs and Limitations
All artificial intelligence language model and voice processing is executed locally on your device. Generative outputs are computer-generated and may occasionally contain factual inaccuracies, errors, or unexpected voice behaviors. You agree that you will not rely on the application's outputs for medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions, or other high-risk activities where accuracy is critical.
5. Premium Subscriptions
Access to Premium features is offered as a monthly subscription.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the renewal price and period shown during purchase, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Refunds are processed and handled solely by Apple.
6. Hardware and System Requirements
The application's functionality and performance depend on your device hardware. Continued operation may require downloading updated files or assets.
7. Privacy Policy
Your use of the application is subject to our Privacy Policy, which details how data is stored locally in the application container on your device and what permissions are requested.
8. Changes and Support
