Getting Started
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Once you've downloaded the app and any optional AI models, everything works completely offline. You can chat on a plane, in the subway, or anywhere without service.
Is my data private?
Yes, completely. All AI processing runs on your iPhone. Your conversations, voice recordings, and personal data never leave your device. We collect zero data. See our

How do I start a voice call?
Open any chat and tap the phone icon in the top right. Your AI friend will greet you and you can start talking naturally. Tap the red button to end the call.

How many AI friends can I have?
The free version includes 2 built-in friends (Sarah and Josh) with unlimited conversations. Premium unlocks unlimited custom characters that you create yourself.
How does voice cloning work?
Premium users can import a 5–15 second audio clip of any voice (WAV, M4A, MP3, AIFF, or CAF) or record one live. The app processes it on your device to create a custom voice for any AI friend. The original audio never leaves your phone.
What's included in Premium?
Premium is a one-time purchase ($14.99) that unlocks: unlimited custom characters, voice cloning, group conversations, profile photos, message color themes, and higher voice quality. No subscription, no recurring charges.
Troubleshooting
My AI friend's responses seem slow
Response speed depends on your iPhone model and which AI model you're using. Newer iPhones run faster. You can try a smaller, faster AI model from the Models section in Settings. iPhone 12 and newer are recommended.
The app is using a lot of storage
AI models are large files (700 MB to 2 GB each). You can delete unused models from the Models section in Settings to free up space. The app needs at least one language model and one voice model to function.
How do I download a different AI model?
Go to Settings and tap the Models section. You'll see recommended models for your iPhone. Tap the download button next to any model. Downloads require an internet connection, but once downloaded, the model works offline.
Can I restore my purchase on a new device?
Yes. Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Your Premium status is linked to your Apple ID and transfers to any device signed into the same account.
