Talking Jellyfish is designed for local, on-device operation. We prioritize user privacy by storing and processing your voice and chat interactions directly on your device, minimizing external data transmissions.

On-Device Storage: Talking Jellyfish is designed for local on-device operation. Chat history, contact configurations, custom settings, and generated audio assets are stored locally within the application container on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit this user-generated content to our servers.

Device Permissions: To enable its local voice features, the application may request access to standard iOS permissions, such as Microphone access (for real-time speech-to-text processing) and Photo/Media library access (to select profile photos or import files for setup). These permissions are processed entirely on your device.

Network Connectivity: The application may connect to the internet to retrieve updated assets or process in-app billing through Apple.

The application does not include third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or user behavior analytics frameworks. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed directly through Apple's secure platform services. Apple’s privacy policy applies to those transactions.

Data stored locally in the application remains on your device. You can delete individual chats, memories, contacts, or clear all data using the "Reset Everything" feature in Settings. Deleting the application from your iOS device will also permanently remove all locally stored database files and settings. We do not maintain backups of your local data and cannot recover or delete it on your behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
