Privacy Policy

This policy explains data handling in Talking Jellyfish and on this website. Voice and chat processing takes place on your device.

Local data: The app stores chats, memories, contacts, settings, selected images, voice samples, custom voice files, and diagnostic records on your device to provide its features and help diagnose problems. It does not automatically send your conversation content or voice recordings to us.

Permissions: Microphone access enables voice input and voice setup. System pickers let you select photos or files to import. You can manage microphone access in iOS Settings.

Internet use: Apple services provide model downloads, purchases, and subscription management. The app receives purchase status from Apple to enable paid features.

The app does not include advertising or user-behavior analytics services. Apple processes downloads and purchases under Apple's privacy policy.

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages, which logs visitors' IP addresses for security. See GitHub's privacy statement.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments through our email provider. We use them to respond to your request. Include only information needed for support.

Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request its deletion at support@talkingjellyfish.com.

You can delete chats, memories, and contacts using the app's controls. “Reset Everything” removes conversation and custom-contact data and resets app settings; achievements are preserved. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Offloading the app is different and retains documents and data.

Device backups may include app data, depending on your settings. Deleting data in the app does not delete existing backups or copies you have shared. Manage those copies through the relevant service or device. We cannot access or recover your local app data for you.

Updates to this policy will be posted here with a revised date.
